2008 wish list
Denis Howlett gave me an idea on Twitter
Have a wishlist instead of a prediction list for 2008
so here it is
Batteries, someone will finally sort out the mobile phone battery issue
Roaming, not a wish, “someone” 
will sort out the global roaming issue for voice and data.
Loren Feldman will make an honest women of my favorite lady Michelle
Ken and Sheryl will become the first couple of voice.
Jeff Pulver will cross over to mainstream TV, he will quickly cross back to IPTV
Michael Arrington will become a mainstream commentator.
@Pistachio (Laura ) will appear on Oprah
Shel Israel will finish that book.
People will start working on voice communication for the people that can least afford it. think prepaid
Tom Raftery will become the voice of Spanish bloggers.
Scoble will go mainstream
Damien Mulley will get an Irish TV show, its on at 2am on TG4 Sundays and Friday
Louder Voice will recieve a large tranche of funding
Twitter will be acquired and launch country channels @lexia and @damienmulley will become the royal family of the Irish channel.
I will move to California
iPhone will come to Ireland.
Florian will buy a DB9
VC’s will finally wake up to Ireland, Paddies can stay home this year.
People will wake up to people and not just the echo chamber
What would I do with 2 DB9? Happy new year buddy

Nice list Pat. A couple of thoughts (1) Mike Arrington already is a mainstream commentator. (2) First, I need t start the book.
I think we will see some kind of big initiative from EI on Irish digital start ups ! Happy new year Pat .

I found you through Laura (@pistachio) . Hope you’re right about Oprah, batteries and roaming issues. Pulver on TV, just seems…. wrong.. unless he is bending it to his will and not the other way around.
