Bank Of Ireland, O2 and Carphone Warehouse total muppets

So this week finally we got young Phelan to accept a mobile phone, Carol has been worried about him in the city etc and a visit from Bank of Ireland to his school got him to open a savings account, he got a mobile phone voucher in conjunction with O2 and Carphone Warehouse in return for opening this.

Off we went into the city today, tried two Carphone Warehouse stores, no phones in stock, went to the third store and they explained how these phones wouldn’t be in stock for a month and there was no alternative offer.
So O2 lost a young customer, Bank Of Ireland will have a young savers account closed on Monday and Carphone Warehouse lost a commision.
Way to go guys

Well Kudos to Carphone Warehouse
I had a call from the lovely Juliann Kenny head of customer service at Carphone Warehouse who updated me on the situation and resolved it.
Fantastic to see this kind of response and Carphone Warehouse gets a thumbs up for this.

Its typical! I hope he tells them why he’s closing the account! Who knows it just might make them stop and think for a minute!

Stuff like that makes me so angry.

I’ve submitted this to o2, Carphone Warehouse and Bank of Ireland, i really hope they apologise to you for the inconvenience they’ve caused you.

Not sure if your object to that but it makes me so angry so i couldn’t help my self!

To be fair to all the companies involved the offer was a FIRST COME FIRST SERVED! It even stated that on the leaflet you were given.
I wish people would read the small print before going off on one, as someone who works in retail it’s the one thing that makes us (retail workers) want to give people a slap, idiots taking the moral high ground, there right even when there wrong! You do realise that there are about 20 stores in and around Dublin? (Thats assuming you are in Dublin!) if not there are 72 nationwide, did you try to see if they could order one from another store?
