Brawn, Branson, Button and Barrichello win Australian F1

Brawn
The first F1 is over
What a race, I am thrilled for the four B’s, its a new beginning for Formula 1.
Cars were sliding and drifting and I think the late 70′s early 80′s are back.
Its an incredible feat considering the only sponsor besides engines from Mercedes was Henri Lloyd (another 80′s classic reinventing itself at present) up until a few weeks ago.
Now we have Sir Richard Branson joining the fray.
Fair play to Branson for taking a leap of faith here.
You couldn’t have written this script.
Now please leave the car as is it, please don’t turn it into a red and white advertising board.

I love the new exciting nature of GPs and I think that it shows that drivers are not really that important and it is more of a manufacturers competition. Button has always been a decent driver but having been around GPs and worked on yachts he was always known as a nice guy/party animal who under achieved. Must say for the first time I watched this whole GP as opposed to watching it in the background with my laptop on my knees. More of the same please :)

Looks like we share common interest in mobile and f1 :-)

Looking forward to possibly another interesting race in a few days…..maybe this time we see other colors taking the chequered flag

Looks like this season could be very interesting on many fronts. With new teams & drivers making the most out of the regulation changes, it is shaping up.
Button has now won a second race at an eventful Malaysian GP. It’s going to be tricky this year getting time to watch F1, after defecting to Moto GP & WSB in recent years, but it could be worth it.

It’s a pity though that there is so much controversy raging at the moment. Tomorrow sees the FIA decide on the legality of the controversial diffuser designs used by Brawn, Williams and Toyota and later this month the FIA could throw the book at McLaren over the alleged Australian GP lying (to the race stewards)issue involving Hamilton, Davey Ryan and potentially Martin Whitmarsh as well.
