Giving up smoking is hard

Its a busy time with Cubic, switches and phones arriving Tuesday, Huge crowds expected in from overseas all next week. In the middle of all this lies no smoking like the elephant in the room you don’t talk about.
As everyone who has read the blog for a while knows I am a recovering alcoholic ( 7 years but who is counting) but let me tell you this lack of nicotine is hard hard hard.
Today was fucking almost impossible but I got through it.
I am just back from a session of acupuncture and am now more determined than ever. To my wife , kids, business partners and staff, sorry for being a royal pain in the ass.
Normal service will resume soon, I promise

Bet they wished they stopped smoking too!

Lately I have found myself appalled by the number of cigarettes I smoke even if they are mostly 30% of a cigarette. My health is beginning to suffer a little and I have developed a raspy cough which I cant seem to shake off.
I decided two weeks ago to quit today, so the day is here and the patches are on
Wish me luck.
