Chatroulette, socially depraved or socially interesting?

I work with a bunch of guys who constantly slag me off for talking about the hottest new thing, they generally give me a hard time about “twitter” “foursquare” and a whole bunch of other apps so you can imagine I was a bit slow to introduce them to Chatroulette.
Well you can imagine my surprise as 3 grown men were rolling in the aisles laughing within 5 minutes.
So what’s Chatroulette?
I think Tim Walker probably gets it as close as be damned with “Chat Roulette is like some bastard child of Skype and StumbleUpon”
Its really quite simple, you log on, you allow Chatroulette access to your webcam/microphone and off you go visiting living rooms of mostly young people and mostly with some sort of nudeness involved.
Chatroulette is definitely not for the shy or feint of heart.
Visitors are growing at a pretty phenomenal rate, last night it was pushing 30,000 people on-line and right now on a Sunday morning its around 20,000.
My “research” last night showed about 25% nudeness so its definitely NSFW
