LG Shine launched into the Korean market on October 18th, 2006 is seeing 1,500 unit activations per day. Fifteen days after the handset’s release it has topped the Chocolate’s 1,000 activations per day after three weeks. Shine is a fully metal bodied super-slim handset with a trendy tricky mirror LCD on the front that magically transforms into a high-quality colour screen when the phone is activated. The super slim and sleek design defies its high-tech functionality which includes a 2 mega-pixel camera and a convenient scroll-key function on the front.
