Cork Open Coffee
Excellent attendance today at Cork Open Coffee which was held in The Webworks.
I really enjoyed as it was only a trot up the stairs for me.
Well done to Conor O Neill and to Kay Wright of The Webworks for providing the room.
QIK was on hand to record all the attendees and what they do.
Conor asked for suggestions today and I would like to throw one out. Why not have a speaker like today (Phoebe Bright was excellent after a slow start) followed by 5 elevator pitches.

Great vids Pat! Thanks for your help in getting yesterday arranged. Love the elevator pitch idea. At the OCC in Rubicon in January, some of the round table intros turned into elevator pitches and were very well received.
Demo in two weeks at OCC in Rubicon is SharedVisions which is a web-conferencing company. I’ll ask who wants to give their strictly time-limited elevator pitches afterwards.
Looks like it’ll be CIX courtesy of Tom Raftery after that on March 7th.
Looks like a good bunch, if you hear that their getting any good speakers in I’d love to sit in on one of the talks. Moving the business’s down to Portlaoise in a few weeks so i’m only an hour away from ye.

Great videos Pat. I’m only catching up now but really think these are an invaluable way of promoting OpenCoffee around Ireland and hope ye’ll keep it up. I’m planning to start doing likewise in Limerick.
