Hop-On whats going on here?
Hop-On a manufacturer of mobile phone handsets is probably one of the strangest companies I have ever come across.
I have been try to contact them now for almost a year and nothing, no email back,nothing

They pushed another press release this week announcing the worlds first $10 mobile and I decided I would give it another go.
Become a distributor Hyperlink doesn’t exist.
Both phone numbers are disconnected.
Emails go answered.
This from a company who done a press release last week is rather bizarre.
Any ideas?
It gets even worse, with a new press release saying that they intend to work with Android posted on MobileCrunch commenter Rob Jackson digged deeper than me and found that CEO Peter Michaels has just completed probation for another stock scandal.
Friend Sabrina Dent done a further dig and came up with this, even more curious

if i recall they were investigated a few years ago for securities fraud; they were selling stock in a company that had no real product or any intention of ever producing one. at the time it was a disposable phone they were supposedly building.
i found this with a google search:

If I were interested in this story, I would go through the press releases listed there and contact a couple of the brands they mention partnering with to see if any of this is authentic. Given their history, I wouldn’t personally be taking bets on that.
Did you try this guy yet: http://www.linkedin.com/pub/0/834/6aa
@evert
Company chairman with 1 connection on Linkedin even rings more alarm bells
@pat Maybe he’s just shy?
Head of sales also seems “shy”
