IKEA opens in Dublin-want to avoid putting the stuff together?

As a person who has never been in an IKEA store and hopes to never be, IKEA opening is not of huge interest to me and as someone who is completely useless in the self assembly market (evidence is available below) I think this site will be invaluable.

This looks great, congrats to all involved.
Now can you tell me where I went wrong here please? :-)

I think we might be onto a winner there Pat if we add online support to our service. People can upload their furniture assembly disasters and our experts can advise on how to fix them… or indeed we could send an IKEA Ambulance out? ;-)

Thanks for the mention. I really appreciate it.

humm can’t see too clearly in the pic, did you split the wood. possibly used the wrong screws? :P

I love flat pack furniture, kinda like stress relief putting it together. Never had a problem before, even with dodgy Chinese instructions.

Oh dear, you could have done with the IKEA ambulance alright :D

Never had a problem with ftalpacks either. They had 12000 people in one day, now that’s riduculous! Good promotion I guess.

Did you see the advertising stuck up all over Cork?
