Irish blog awards, what a night
“Well it was about time”
3 years of being the bridesmaid came to an end ![]()

It has to be the best so far by a long shot and especially since I only decided to go at lunchtime.
Early tapa’s with an amazing bunch John Peavoy, Conor and Cathrine O Niell (Conor is looking amazing, Catherine always looks amazing), Anton Mannering, Aidan and his Mrs from Amit Solutions, Walter and his Mrs from Pixenate, Simon Whelband from Dell and Gordon from Murrion Software at Cava. Incredible Tapa’s, without doubt best I have had, pricey though.
And so to the awards
WHAT A SHOW.
Incredible entrance theme “Blogging is dead” wonderful work by all involved I spotted John McAWilliams , Fran and Ciara Crossan acting as mourners on the dramatic entrance parade.
Outstanding work and choreography here by The Mullster.
The event zipped along like never before, brilliant work as always by the superb host Rick O Shea.
Anyways the trophy came and thrilled with it, max kudos to Sinead also. A couple of things which made the night were the video’s, they were absolutely outstanding, the appearance of Podge and Rodge was beyond funny.
Kudos to Steph, Darragh and the Culch crowd for these, I was delighted with Laura McGonigle’s win in the best blog by a politician category, no one I know works harder for the local community and finally best blog post didnt go to Dena but to a very well deserved Panti.
As always Mulley you are a legend, thanks for a great show bud
Update: Looks like Damien had a nightmare with Galway’s Radisson Blu, looks like the venue was a huge miss.
