I have a DSL line with at&t with no landline attached to it. This is called a dry line dsl only. If you get a Magic Jack and it works, and you would like to save 300 to 800 a year get it , it works. The only draw back is you might have to get a number thats in another state, which will change when they get more numbers. You also need to be able to work the computer very well. From the next day onwards MagicJack was crashing my system and I just couldn’t do anything with my pc. My operating system is VISTA and I did everything right if not I wouldn’t be able to make those two calls.
