MOBIVOX to ring changes

At last MOBIVOX have listened, I have recommended the service to hundreds of friends as a simple long distance product.
Feedback was always the same, “poor quality”.
In fact my partner Florian Seroussi ceased using the product after one week calling it “unusable”.
MOBIVOX got off to a great start with an $11 million series A from IDG Ventures and Skypoint Capital Corporation, They also recently launched in Mandarin.
I am also aware of departures of senior people from the management team as Jim notes, however Mobivox has now responded and are being kicked all over the place in their forum.
I really don’t understand the responses in this forum, calls aren’t free guys, quality costs, you cant complain when quality is poor and say you are leaving when it costs a cent more.

I really hope that MOBIVOX works through their current difficulties and look forward to seeing them at the top of the VOIP pile again.

Pat – Greg from Rebtel, here. You’re a friend, so I’m sorry to have to contradict you, but calls are still free on Rebtel between 47 countries. Yes – you might say the “cost” is the hoop or two you have to jump through to make the calls. But at least they free, no strings attached or restrictions on who or what type of phone you call in those countries. And, no comprimise on quality.

    Greg
This post wasn’t about Rebtel and ducking in under the pretence is not cool IMO
