Morten Lund-The best of Le Web

Its funny, Morten is an investor in a competitors company but I couldn’t admire the guy anymore if I tried.
This was the highlight of Le Web for me, a real man stood on stage and just spoke.
Incredible, just incredible.

That was excellent Pat. Did you get to meet him at all? Seems like a very cool guy.

wish they were more like him who don’t parade their egos like asshole badges. Loved Morten Lund talk and tweeted nearly every thing he said. I completely agree he was the highlight of #leweb. I wrote on some of the assholes though. http://www.wisequeen.com

You said it perfectly Pat, “a real man”. Down but definitely not out.

Seems like losing all that money was actually good for him, strange but true. Liked his message.

    Pat

Thanks for sharing. I wish more were said, more often about failure and about bullshit in start-ups. More is the pity that no sooner than some revenues happen than josworths come in and take over. In the name of ‘management’. For crying out loud.

I don’t know how it is in your part of the world but in England, well this tweet of mine from a few days ago probably expresses some of my frustration: “The scourge of British business – accountants in charge of critical business roles.”

Comment – “I didnt see it coming”.

    The guy is a looser.

If you are smart – and you are a good entreprenuer and a good operator – you dont loose $25m in 4 years on a fucking newspaper.

He should not be put on a pedestal.
