Nokia N93 voted European Media Phone 2006-2007

Nokia has announced that its latest high performance multimedia computer, the Nokia N93, has been awarded the European Media Phone of the Year 2006-2007 by the European Imaging and Sound Association (EISA), Europe’s largest multimedia press organization.

The handset comes Equipped with a Carl Zeiss Vario-Tessar lens with 3x optical zoom, the handset is capable of shooting stills at resolutions up to 3.2 Megapixels and recording video in MPEG4 format at VGA resolution and 30 FPS. Sharing capabilities include the ability to upload recorded content to online albums such as Flickr, Typepad blogs through Nokia Lifeblog, or alternatively direct-to-TV output also to come bundled with Adobe Premiere Elements 2.0 software, the swivel-style N93 harbours 50 MB of onboard memory, which can be expanded with miniSD cards up to 2 GB in size.

It also includes a 2.4-inch high-resolution display with a 160 degree viewing angle, 3G with video calling and Wi-Fi connectivity with UPnP support for streaming audio, video and pictures to compatible media extenders around the home.

    The camera feature on the Nokia N93 is among the best in the industry but i think that the main drawback of the Nokia N93 is its size. I am realy annoyed with its slow user interface. I have also synchronized it with zyb.com and it works just fine.
