PhoneTag CEO James Siminoff

Its fairly unusual for me to meet someone and think you have known them all your life, I met James Siminoff of PhoneTag in San Francisco recently and could have stayed talking to him for the three days.
An opinionated ex phonecard guy, kind of sounds familiar :-), seriously James is a die in the wool entrepreneur who couldn’t have been more impressive even if he was trying though we do differ on taste in cars.
A meeting with James should be on every young start-ups list of to do’s, he tells me PhoneTag is flying and with Mr Calacanis as an A-List user the future must be bright.

Yip. Being Following. Actually a great business model. Looking forward to trying to do some business with him in the future. Delighted he seems to be such a good guy Pat, always good to know.

    Pat,

Thanks for the incredible post, I just wish that I could say that I actually liked you:) (sorry I could not help myself)

Seriously the feeling is completely mutual, I think that we are both very similar in how we like to live and build businesses. I really hope to do something with you in the future, even if that is jsut getting really drunk in Ireland.

How does this differ from Spinvox? I think it is a cool idea and he is definitely onto something considering the 100$mill than spinvox took in from VC’s recently. Any sign of them targeting the market outside Europe?
