In fact Skype is the only voip App in the market today (al the rest just wasting their time).

Today Skype have leadership problem and that is what stopping them at the moment to start make some real money, think if they would start put some advertise ad’s in the software, they could make a very nice revenue, I don’t mind to get some ad’s in the software… Skype was saving me a lot of money during the last few years and I love them. I convinced must of the people I do business with them to talk over Skype and they did the same with their colleague, I even talk with my mom over Skype and that is something; Skype just had 12 million online users before few days ago and they are growing like crazy, they have about 30 million real users.

I didn’t believe in them first, but now I eat my hat.

There way is still long but the brand is good and the potential is fantastic, imagine in 3 or 4 year from today we all have mobile phone that can run skype with no problems and we will all have WiFi, WiMax or 4G, then skype will be the VON (voice + video over the net) leader. Mobile phones companies will be the wireless internet providers, same has happened to the PSTN companies, today they make money from the DSL and not from the land line…

Cork girls are missing you, naked, running on the streets of Cork... A shame :-)
Jokes apart, I wouldn't be so happy in the feet of eBay. I'm curious to see if the not-overlapping user base between Skype and eBay led to a measurable new revenue stream for ebay... at least.
