Sunday give away

Nokia CS-10
The kind guys at Nokia gave me one of their fantastic Nokia CS-10 Internet sticks to test with MAXroam. I have finished testing and the results are great.
Its a mobile broadband usb dongle that works in Windows and Mac, just stick in a 3G sim, enter the network APN and bang you are good to using the Nokia’s onboard software.
The device is capable of speeds of up to 7.2 Mbps down and 2.1 up.
I have finished testing and will give it away to one of the commentators on this post.
I have two runner up prizes courtesy of my buddy David Marcus of Zong, I have a couple of all all new Zong t-shirts to give away, if you need to integrate a mobile payments system David is the go to guy.

and the winners are, nokia Dongle Jonathan Greene @atmasphere, zong t-shirts Paul Sweeney and @stephenforde

Looks good – I wish they would have followed Sierra’s (?) design with the upwards-pointing dongle – I hate stabbing people with 3 dongle (on the rare occasion I’ll actually get a signal with it) I when I’m on the train.

    That’s exactly what I’m missing.

@Enda Crowley, you don’t need the USB stick to be flexible when you have a short USB extender — they’re useful in many a circumstance. I got one with some usb device and the cable has proved more useful than whatever device it was (search for 6 inch usb cable)

i’d love to test it with a Nokia CS-10 :-)

    Mr Phelan Sir,

I would love, love, love to win this Nokia stick!
All kinds of awesomeness.. I had to give up my Vodafone one last year and miss it terribly.

A Nokia one would be perfect, it’d match my phones, my wallet, my keyring, my frisbee, my simcard holder…

    You get the idea ;)

    Great giveaway.
