Boingo are on a huge roll with the addition nearly 1000 hotspots in Ireland today.
Eircom the Irish national provider has now partnered up with the USA based group and all Boingo clients will now be able connect to Eircom’s nationwide hotspots which include Dublin, Donegal, Farranfore, Knock and Waterford airports.

I got a very strange email from the team behind PR at The Golden Spiders today. I don’t want to embarrass anyone so will only post an excerpt.
“Due to demand, the deadline for the Eircom Golden Spider’s Awards has been extended until the 30th of September; this will be the absolute final deadline for submissions”

Ping times from Eircom broadband are appalling for most of the last 24hrs. Anyone else seeing these.
If you dont know how to do a ping test its really quite simple

click OK
to test to yahoo.com enter “ping -t yahoo.com”
hit return, you should be seeing 95ms on average
