Truphone raises $33 million B round
Amazing news from UK based Truphone today.
“Mobile internet network operator Truphone has raised £16.5m ($32.7m) of Series B venture capital funding”
The round was led by private investors, with all of Truphone’s existing backers – Burda Digital Ventures, Eden Ventures, Independent News & Media and Wellington Partners – also participating”
This is an incredible raise in a very difficult market and Truphone are to be congratulated on this.
Total raised so far for Truphone is $60 million and it will be interesting to see what will come out of the London based company next

Truphone is one of my favorite companies. Not just for VOIP but in general. I recommend them to lots of people, maybe only second to MaxRoam. I see so much potential for both companies. I hope both you and Truphone continue to progress at a good clip.
