Windows Desktop Search 3.0 Beta 2 released!
I have had horrific issues with Google desktop and earlier versions of Windows desktop search so this solves the first problem of the day.

    I use Copernic desktop search and would recommend it over either of the above!

    Having said that what works for you is what you should stick with
