You never know who you will bump into.

I got a reminder of this funny story this week.
It was September 2007, We had just been on stage Techcrunch50 launching Cubic Telecom and James Seng invited me to lunch with his friend Nick Palevsky.
James was a brilliant telephony blogger and we had been communicating backwards and forwards for ages, Nick I had no clue who he was, it might have been worth Goggling him though :-)
Lunch was fantastic, James is great fun and Nick was super interesting plus a bit of a character.
Anyways some lady whom I had never heard of joined us for lunch, her name was Esther Dyson, people seemed to know her so I presumed she was one of the hoover people.
Anyways we had a very entertaining lunch, it passed all too quickly.
I found out whom everyone was after lunch and was pretty much blown away that people like these would sit down and take the time for lunch with an Irish entrepreneur.
Why the story?
Nick’s Dad Max Palevsky died this week RIP, I never met him but his son was very kind to me when I was starting out.
